International Commission
Technical Commission
The Technical Commission of Nepal Tug of War Association is responsible for ensuring that the sport is conducted in a fair, safe, and standardized manner according to national and international (TWIF) rules. It develops, reviews, and implements technical rules and competition guidelines, and ensures that all tournaments are organized with proper field setup, equipment standards, and safety measures. The commission also plays a key role in training and certifying referees, coaches, and technical officials, while conducting refresher programs to maintain quality officiating. Additionally, it advises the executive committee on technical matters, resolves disputes related to rules during competitions, and evaluates events to recommend improvements. In Nepal, it further contributes to the development and promotion of tug of war by strengthening technical capacity at local, provincial, and national levels, ensuring consistency and professionalism in the sport.
